Rondo and Bob tells the story of Robert A. Burns, art director on the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and his obsession with cult actor Rondo Hatton aka the Creeper. Burns was an average looking guy brimming with weird creativity. Hatton was an average guy whose appearance was distorted by acromegaly. Rondo and Bob tells both of their stories. Gary Kent is the true most interesting man in the world. A B-movie legend, he worked with indie directors Al Adamson, Richard Rush, Monte Hellman, Ray Dennis Steckler. He was partial inspiration for Brad Pitt's stuntman character in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. While his onscreen stunts were dangerous, his personal challenges were even tougher. Danger God tells the story of his drive to succeed and all of the bumps in the road along with way. Available streaming and on DVD/Blu-ray.

An unusual new documentary will appeal to horror film fans, Texas history buffs and Hollywood legend obsessives. With a unique narrative style reminiscent of a journalist cranking out quirky stories, Rondo and Bob chronicles the life of Robert A. Burns, the eccentric horror film art director from Austin.

Rondo and Bob includes interviews and recreations of key moments from both men's personal lives and in the industry as they sought self-acceptance. Sadly, neither would find it. Hatton died of a heart attack brought on by his condition at 51. Burns took his own life at 60 while suffering from kidney cancer.
